like many folks, i get a kick out of youtube spoofs. some of the most viewed videos are completely ridiculous fodder. you have to wonder why more organizations don’t harness the power of this by going viral with funny video clips. after all, good humor is clever and a form of innovation. it’s definitely on my short list of new promotional vehicles to explore for my business! the inertia is probably due first to the ongoing fear of being real with consumers. well, take a closer look at the landscape. the time has come for companies to stop advertising and creating extra distance from consumers. nobody is listening. the time has come to loosen up and be fun – to use the tools that are working in the marketplace to become more successful.
