i’m in outer banks for the labor day holiday, where i came across a nice touch at a roadside restaurant called currituck bbq company. check the photo below for a map with pushpins that displays all of the places from which their customers hail. it’s a simple, time-tested model that reinforces their brand as a food destination for travelers on their way to obx. along with great food, this even helps to promote the desire to buy a shirt or hat (both of which were for sale on site). i was surprised to see more people from hawaii and alaska than some bordering continental areas. perhaps you could think of a way to incorporate this for your business. for example, i once used a world map to show my music industry work across five continents.
