Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is an emerging authority and abundance strategy at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and search engines. This approach to content creation, optimization, and management is an add-on to and eventual pivot from Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in the evolving landscape of AI-powered search and information retrieval.
Successful efforts in AEO can better position you as the answer to popular questions in ChatGPT and Google’s “People Also Ask.” This is the search equivalent of word-of-mouth referrals — except that no one needs to think of or vouch for you.
